Source of truth
The agreed system of record for a given entity or number.
Definition
The single place the business agrees a fact lives — the record for a deal, a property, an investor, a project or a definition such as what counts as an active pipeline item. Intelligence work is only reliable when each fact has one owner and one authoritative location.
