How AEGIS OS uses the vocabulary of governed intelligence. Definitions are written in house and kept consistent with how the platform is built.
- AI operating system
- A governed system that unifies people, data, workflows and intelligence.
- Source of truth
- The agreed system of record for a given entity or number.
- Governed execution
- Work that runs automatically inside explicit rules, permissions and approvals.
- Approval boundary
- The line between what intelligence may do alone and what a person must approve.
- AI role
- A scoped intelligence function defined like a job, not a chatbot.
- Workflow
- A defined sequence of steps that carries work from trigger to outcome.
- Automation
- A deterministic step that runs without a person once conditions are met.
- Data contract
- The agreed shape, owner and meaning of a data set moving between systems.
- Audit trail
- The recorded history of what happened, when and on whose authority.
- Architecture Assessment
- The paid diagnostic that precedes any AEGIS build.
- Deployment
- A configured instance of AEGIS OS built for a specific operating model.
- Managed Intelligence
- Ongoing operation, governance review and continued build after go-live.
