How AEGIS OS uses the vocabulary of governed intelligence. Definitions are written in house and kept consistent with how the platform is built.

A governed system that unifies people, data, workflows and intelligence.
Source of truth
The agreed system of record for a given entity or number.
Governed execution
Work that runs automatically inside explicit rules, permissions and approvals.
Approval boundary
The line between what intelligence may do alone and what a person must approve.
AI role
A scoped intelligence function defined like a job, not a chatbot.
Workflow
A defined sequence of steps that carries work from trigger to outcome.
Automation
A deterministic step that runs without a person once conditions are met.
Data contract
The agreed shape, owner and meaning of a data set moving between systems.
Audit trail
The recorded history of what happened, when and on whose authority.
Architecture Assessment
The paid diagnostic that precedes any AEGIS build.

A configured instance of AEGIS OS built for a specific operating model.
